How to understand your TEAS exam score?

The range of the TEAS exam score is 0.0% to 100%. The number of questions that a test-taker gets correct is modified and given a percentage. It usually ranges from 41% to 58%. ● Proficient: This level indicates an average to proficient academic level and usually ranges from 59% to 77%. ● Advanced: an advanced TEAS score indicates that a learner has a high readiness level for academic health sciences. Usually, the scores range between 78% to 90%. ● Exemplary: This is the highest-scoring class, usually, 91% and over. Learners in this score category are ready to succeed in health sciences academically and will usually need little preparation before joining health sciences classes. How and when do I receive my TEAS score results?

The TEAS comes in both electronic and paper formats. Applicants who electronically take these exams will view their scores immediately on completing the examination, so long as the school has a provision for the option.

Contrarily, ATI will review and grade the test for test-takers who opt for the paper version, usually within 24 hours. Score calculation may take approximately 72 hours if the examination is at a PSI center.

How do I view my TEAS test performance?

There are four sections in the TEAS examination: reading, English/language, mathematics, and science. Additionally, 16 sub-areas are given scores. National percentage position Your national percentage position depends on the number of students within the sample who represent different health science courses. From one to 99, this value shows the student percentage who attain a score at or below yours. Your combined score and content section scores report the national percentage position.

Unit percentage position This scoring category also depends on student sampling; nevertheless, you are in the same health science course with all the other students. These scores will associate the student percentage with an equal score or lower than your combined score or content part scores.
